In order to receive a fee waiver, you must submit an official document confirming your participation in the appropriate program to admissionssais@jhu.edu. We will waive the fee once the paperwork is received by our office and your application has been submitted. Unfortunately, we do not grant fee waivers for financial hardship.

Yellow Ribbon Program
Johns Hopkins University is a proud participant of the Yellow Ribbon program that enhances financial access for student veterans. The program currently provides up to $12K in additional support to military veterans who are not active duty and have a 100% GI Bill benefit rate.

Matriculation Fee
Admitted students are required to pay a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure their place in the program. The deposit is due approximately two or four weeks from the date the admission decision is released.
